Anambra Poll: Bianca Ojukwu Confident As Obiano Leads In Early Results

Governor Willie Obiano appears to be leading other candidates in early results of the Anambra state gubernatorial election.

The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) is hopeful of emerging victorious in the poll as the party is reportedly receiving positive feedback from several polling centres.

Hon. Patrick Obianwu, the Managing Director of Anambra Urban Development, said in a statement that the result collated so far in the GRA Unit in Awka favours Governor Obiano.

“The full result isn’t out but the ones captured is clear landslide victory in Favour of APGA because of the workings of Governor Willie Obiano.

“From what we have seen so far, there is no cause for complaints yet. Everything seems to be really okay,” he said.

Meanwhile, Mrs Bianca Ojukwu, the widow of late Biafran leader, Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, has expressed optimism that Governor Obiano will emerge victorious in the election.

“In my area, APGA is winning. I believe we will go on to win the election,” she told newsmen.
