Boko Haram Kills 15 In Borno

No fewer than 15 people have been killed after three suicide bombers attacked a market in Konduga, Borno state, on Friday night.

An eye witness, Bulama Kaka, who confirmed the incident, said two of the attackers were inside the market, while another was at the entrance.

“We all ran for safety after the first thunderous blast occurred. Many people I know were killed in the attack,” Kaka said.

An official of the State Emergency Management Agency, who also confirmed the incident said about 18 people sustained various degree of injuries.

The official said the deceased and those in critical conditions have been moved to the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital and Maiduguri general hospital.

The attack comes one day after the Nigerian Army placed a N3 million bounty on Boko Haram leader, Abubakar Shekau.

The Army had earlier claimed that Shekau was seen dressed as a woman in an effort to escape from the Theatre of Operation.
