Boko Haram kills at least 5 in Maiduguri market

According to a policeman and an emergency worker, at least 5 people have lost their lives by a bomb attack in Gamboru market in North-eastern city of Maiduguri in Nigeria on Friday morning.

Maiduguri, the capital of Borno state has been a hotbed of insecurity and frequent terrorist attacks by the dreaded Boko Haram sect.

According to a source at the hospital who spoke to REUTERS, about a dozen people were injured and four bodies have been brought in.
