A test flight with the Minister of State for Aviation, Hadi Sirika on board has made the first landing at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport, Abuja.

The landing comes after six weeks of rehabilitation of the runway and other facilities at the Airport.

The minister is said to have flown in from the Kaduna International Airport, which has been serving as an alternative route in place of the Abuja airport.

Meanwhile, Ethiopian Airline is expected to land at the airport this morning, becoming the first airline to do so a day to the reopening of the airport.
