Breaking: Obanikoro Finally Dumps PDP For APC

A Former Minister of State for Defence, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, has declared that he will officially announce his defection to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) over the weekend.

He made the statement while speaking with Channels Television.

Obanikoro was a minister under the Goodluck Jonathan administration.

He ran for the Lagos state governorship seat in 2015 but lost the ticket to Jimi Agbaje.

His defection does not come as a surprise as the politicians planned official announcement follows speculations by some quarters of the media.
