BREAKING: Reps Pass 2017 Budget
The House of Representative has passed the 2017 Appropriation Bill.
The Budget, with total expenditure at N7.441 trillion, was passed during plenary on Thursday.
The passage comes a month after the budget was presented by President Muhammadu Buhari.

Earlier in the day, the house became rowdy during plenary when it was discovered N51 billion was published as allocation to the Office of the Secretary to the Government of d Federation.
Meanwhile, the Senate kept its promise by releasing the expected expenditure for the National Assembly in 2017.
The figure was put at N125 billion, making it the first time the National Assembly has released its expenditure.
