BREAKING: Senate Throws Out Peace Corps Bill

Following opposition from lawmakers, the Nigerian Senate, on Tuesday, dropped the bill to establish the Nigerian Peace Corps.

The bill was dropped shortly after the presentation of the committee on the bill chaired by Bayero Nafada.

Senators who voted against its passage includes deputy senate president, Ike Ekweremadu, and minority leader, Godswill Akpabio.
