Buhari, ‘APC Rogues’ Would’ve Jailed Maina If He Was In PDP – Fani-Kayode

Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode has said ex-pension boss, Abdulrasheed Maina, would have already been jailed by the President Muhammadu Buhari administration if he were a member of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Fani-Kayode said this after President Buhari on Monday ordered the Head of Service, Mrs. Winifred Oyo-Ita, to immediately disengage the fugitive former Chairman of the Presidential Task Force on Pension Reforms.

Maina, who was sacked from the Federal Civil Service under the last administration, had however found his way back to the Ministry of Interior as the director in charge of Human Resource.

The ex-pension boss is currently on the wanted list of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for the alleged swindle of pensioners out of a whooping N2 billion.

In his reaction to Maina’s recall, Fani-Kayode tweeted on Tuesday:

“If fugitive Pensions boss Abdulrasheed Maina had been a member of the PDP and if he was not under the protection of the Min. of Internal Affairs, the Min. of Justice, the Head of Service and the evil cabal, he and his family would be in indefinate detention by now. APC rogues!”
