Buhari Appoints Bukar-Abba As Acting Chairman Of Federal Character Commission
President Muhammadu Buhari, on Wednesday, approved the appointment of Shettima Bukar-Abba as the Acting Executive Chairman of the Federal Character Commission (FCC).
The Deputy Director, Planning and Strategy of the commission, Chucks Okoli, made this known to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja.

Bukar-Abba’s appointment followed the demise of Muhammad Bello Alkali, the former Executive Chairman of the Commission, last Friday.

Until his appointment, Bukar-Abba, a seasoned civil servant, was the Federal Commissioner representing Borno State in the commission.
