Buhari Bags Chieftaincy Titles In Ebonyi (Photos)

President Muhammadu Buhari has bagged two chieftaincy titles in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, as part of his two-day working visit to the state.

President Buhari was conferred with Enyioma 1 Of Ebonyi (A good Friend), by the Ebonyi traditional council of rulers led by Eze Charles Mkpuma, and Ochioha Ndi Igbo 1 (Igbo Warrior), by South East traditional council of rulers led by Eze Eberechi Dick at the Palace of a Traditional Ruler in Ebonyi state.

Buhari-Chieftaincy-Title

The President landed at the Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu, at 10.30am on Tuesday, his first visit to the South-east since He was elected President in 2015.

Mr Buhari was received by the Governors of Enugu, Ebonyi, Abia, Imo and Kogi at the Akanu Ibiam International Airport.

From there he proceeded to Abakaliki, to begin his 2-day working visit to Ebonyi and Anambra States.

On arrival in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, President Buhari inaugurated a number of road projects, including two Flyovers on the section of the African Trans-Saharan Highway that runs between Enugu and Cameroon.
