Buhari Departs Kano, Proceeds To Daura
President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday travelled to his hometown of Daura, Katsina State, after a two-day working visit to Kano.
According to a statement by the Presidency, Mr Buhari was received by Katsina governor, Aminu Bello Masari and the Emir of Daura, Alhaji Umar Farouk.
The President was accompanied to his hometown by Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano and Abubakar Badaru of Jigawa.
Following his official visit to Kano State, President @MBuhari has proceeded to Daura, his hometown. He was accompanied by Governors @GovUmarGanduje of Kano and Abubakar Badaru of Jigawa, and received by Gov @GovernorMasari of Katsina and the Emir of Daura, Alhaji Umar Farouk.

During his visit to Kano, the President commissioned and laid foundation stone of numerous infrastructural projects undertaken by the state government.
He also pardoned 500 inmates of the Kurmawa Central Prisons in Kano metropolis.
