Buhari Holds Regional Security Talks With Mahama In Ghana

President Muhammadu Buhari will be paying a one-day official visit to Accra, the Ghanaian capital, Monday, where he will hold talks with his counterpart, President John Mahama.

The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr Femi Adesina, in a statement on Sunday said that the two leaders are expected to hold talks on bilateral relations, regional security, trade and other issues of common interest to Nigeria, Ghana and other members of the Economic Community of West African States.

Adesina said President Buhari would meet with members of the Nigerian community in Ghana and entrepreneurs before returning to Abuja in the evening.

He said the president will be accompanied by the National Security Adviser, Maj.-Gen. Babagana Monguno (rtd.) and the Permanent Secretaries in the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Defence, Justice and Industry, Trade and Investment.
