Adesina said the summit which has been themed “Climate Change Financing” seeks “to support and accelerate our common efforts to fight climate change” by by pulling finance from both the public and private sectors.

“While recognising that all countries are affected by the effects of climate change under “One Planet” but some are more vulnerable, the summit seeks for tangible collective action to reduce greenhouse gas emissions,’’ he said.

President Buhari, who departs Abuja on Monday, will be hosted to a lunch by President Emmanuel Macron of France at the Elysee Palace, Adesina noted.
