There are indications that President Muhammadu Buhari will soon announce the names of his 14 other special advisers.
You will recall that on June 2, 2015, Buhari had submitted his list of nominees to the then Senate President, Senator David Mark, requesting the Senate’s approval of 15 Special Advisers.
According to Information Nigeria, a source in the Presidency, on Sunday, revealed that the president already had the list of those that would be his special advisers and any moment from now, would make them known to the public.
The source, who pleaded anonymity said “You know the ministers have just been inaugurated. The key appointments which Mr. President is set to announce any moment from now are those of his special advisers. Mr President is no longer in the process of searching for those advisers. That has been done. He will announce their names any time soon”.
Until now, only one SA has so far been appointed in the person of Mr Femi Adesina, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity.
