Buhari Signs 2018 Budget Wednesday, Cancels FEC Meeting

President Muhammadu Buhari is expected to sign the 2018 budget into law on Wednesday, June 20.

TheCable reports that a Presidency source confirmed the development on Monday.

According to the source the President will assent on the Budget at 11am, Wednesday.

Recall that Femi Adesina, the Special Adviser to the president on media and publicity, had in a chat last week, told state house correspondents that the President would sign the Budget this week.

The Senate and House of Representatives had in May passed the N9.120 trillion Budget.

Meanwhile, this week’s Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting has been cancelled, due to the Sallah holidays.
