Buhari Takes Pleasure In Slandering Nigerians Abroad – Ex-Minister

Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, on Thursday Berated President Muhammadu Buhari for saying that Nigerian Youths are lazy.

Buhari had on Wednesday while speaking at the Commonwealth Business Forum in London, accused Nigerian youths of doing nothing and wanting everything free because they believe the country is an oil-rich nation.

“More than 60 percent of the population is below 30, a lot of them haven’t been to school and they are claiming that Nigeria is an oil producing country, therefore, they should sit and do nothing, and get housing, healthcare, education free.”

Reacting to Buhari’s vituperations, the ex-minister slammed the President and said he was in the habit of embarrassing the country anytime he was on the world stage.

“What type of leader takes pleasure in slandering, shaming, denigrating and humilating his own people before the world? What type of man tells foreigners that his own children and youths are lazy and unproductive?U have destroyed ur own people and shamed them before the world!” Fani-Kayode said in a tweet.
