The Senate President’s disclosure comes barely 24 hours after the Minister of Budget and National Planning, Udo Udoma, said President Buhari was yet to receive the document from the lawmakers.

The Senate and House of Representatives had last week passed the N9.120 trillion Budget

The News Agency of Nigeria reports that those at the event were principal officers of the Assembly, including the President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki; Senate leader, Ahmad Lawan; while Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mr. Yakubu Dogara was represented by Hon. Ado Doguwa.

On Tuesday, President Buhari hosted members of the Federal Executive Council, service chiefs and heads of security agencies to the breaking of fast at the Presidential Villa.
