Buhari’s Anti-Graft War Fake If Amaechi Not In Jail – Abba Moro

Former Minister of Interior, Abba Moro, has wondered what method President Muhammadu Buhari is using to fight corruption if Transport Minister, Rotimi Amaechi is yet to face prosecution.

Moro said while he is in support of the fight against corruption, the alleged shielding of corrupt persons in the All Progressives Congress (APC) is unacceptable.

Speaking to journalists in Makurdi, Benue State, the ex-minister said any sincere fight against corruption must be holistic.

“I am in support of the fight against corruption but it should not be targeted only on one segment, if Suswam is being prosecuted because his administration was indicted by Justice Kpojime report, Amaechi should be prosecuted because he was indicted by an enquiry report too.

“Why leave Amaechi on the roadside and give him appointment just because he is in the ruling camp? I think something is wrong somewhere and for the country to succeed in the fight against corruption it must be holistic,” said Moro.
