Carabao Cup Semis: Chelsea Face Arsenal, City Play Bristol

Chelsea will face Arsenal in the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup.

In a draw ceremony held late on Wednesday at Ashton Gate, Conte’s side who defeated Bournemouth 2-1 in the quarter-finals of the competition on Wednesday, were drawn to host rivals Arsenal in the first leg semi-finals at Stamford Bridge.

The Gunners had on Tuesday defeated West Ham in the quarter-finals of the competition.

In the second semi-final, Bristol City, who defeated Manchester United 2-1 in the quarter-finals on Wednesday, will face Premier League table leaders Manchester City.

The first leg will be played at the Etihad Stadium with the return leg to hold at Ashton Gate.

The matches will be played between January 8 and 22, 2018.
