CHAN 2016: Oliseh Invites 26 Players To Camp

Ahead of the Rwanda 2016 African Nations Championship, Super Eagles head coach Sunday Oliseh has invited 26 players for the first phase of preparatory camp.

Oliseh’s men have been drawn in Group C of the competition and will battle Niger Republic, Tunisia and Guinea with matches to be played at the Stade Regional Nyamirambo in Kigali, in their quest to emerge as winners.

Nigeria will be making their second appearance in the competition having made a debut appearance at the 2014 edition staged in South Africa where they finished as bronze medal winners.

The invited players are regulars, Gbolahan Salami, Paul Onobi, Chima Akas and goalkeeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa.

Also listed are Ezekiel Bassey, Tunde Adeniji, Ifeanyi Mathew, Paul Aggrey and Chisom Chikatara.

Invited players have been directed to report at the Bolton White Apartments, Wuse Zone 7, Abuja on Monday, 14th December.

The competition kicks off on January 16, 2016 in Kigali.
