CHAN: Eagles Arrive Rubavu For Guinea Clash

Nigeria’s home-based Super Eagles have arrived Rubavu, venue for their final group game against Guinea at the ongoing Rwanda 2016 African Nations Championship (CHAN).

The team arrived the Rwandan city on Sunday and went ahead to hold their first training session.

Sunday Oliseh’s men need just a draw against the National Elephants to move to the quarterfinals but the players are confidently aiming for a win as they say they want to make Nigerians proud.

Coach Sunday Oliseh said that victory against Guinea is not negotiable as the Super Eagles target a top finish in Group C.

While Eagles will be playing against Guinea in Rubavu, Tunisia and Niger will also have their third group match playing simultaneously at the Stade de Kigali, Kigali.

Nigeria tops Group C with four points while Tunisia are second on two points together with Guinea, and Niger in fourth with one point.

All four teams still have a chance of going through to the quarterfinals.
