Chelsea FC Orders Diego Costa To ‘Return Home’

Premier league champions Chelsea has given stay-away striker Diego Costa an ultimatum to return to England and make himself available for selection.

28-year-old Costa has been absent from training for 4 weeks and was fined 2 weeks’ wages for failing to return to training as the dispute over his future in Chelsea continues.

The Spaniard relationship with the blues manager Antonio Conte has gone sour since last season over a proposed move to the Chinese Super League.

But after the season in which Chelsea emerged champions, the striker claimed Conte sent him a text message that he is not needed anymore at the club.

The Spanish striker in an interview earlier this week said he is ‘not a criminal’ and did not deserve to be treated as one by premier league champions.

He said he was prepared to spend a year at home in Brazil if necessary without playing if it means eventually forcing a move to Spanish club giants Atletico Madrid.

But the London based club has issued him with a four ultimatum he must meet if he wants the Blues to sell him to Atletico Madrid this summer.

1. Costa must return to Cobham on August 15, 2017.
2. He must return to training.
3. Costa must prove his match fitness
4. And he must put himself for contention for the first team.
