Sequel to his removal as governorship candidate of the Ondo PDP, Jimoh Ibrahim has confessed to assisting the All Progressives Congress (APC) distract the Ondo State Governor, Segun Mimiko, from helping Eyitayo Jegede win.

Ibrahim, in an Instagram video, made the shocking revelation following the appeal court ruling that declared Eyitayo Jegede of the Ahmed Makarfi-led PDP as the authentic candidate of the party.

“Election will be held on Saturday. No matter what they do, it’s gone,” he said on Friday.

“Mimiko is just wasting his time. There’s nothing he can do.

“I decided deliberately lock him up and waste his time for three weeks…took him out the state, destabilized him.

“Now I have released him…two days to the election. He is dancing naked,” Ibrahim added.

The former Ondo PDP candidate didn’t stop there as he went ahead to stage a last minute campaign on Twitter for the candidate of the opposition APC, Rotimi Akeredolu, in bid to spite his rival Jegede.

“The people of Ondo have no choice than to Love Akeredolu.

“I know him as a selfless politician with peerless leadership.

“#OndoLoveAkeredolu

“I can see #OndoLoveAkeredolueverywhere.

“He’s a consistent politician with first class integrity,” he tweeted.
