Court Shifts Badeh’s Arraignment To March 7

A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja, on Thursday, shifted the arraignment of the former Chief of Defence Staff, Air Chief Marshal Alex Badeh, till March 7.
Badeh, who was accused of diverting over N3.9billion from accounts of the Nigerian Air Force, was to be arraigned in court today (Thursday), to take a plea on the 10-count criminal charge levelled against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

The case was however deferred due to the absence of the trial Judge, Justice Abang Okon, who was said to have travelled out of jurisdiction.

Following the latest development, the new trial date was communicated by the court to all the parties.
