The Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr Chris Ngige, on Tuesday, goofed at the Ekiti All Progressives Congress (APC) rally by asking voters to “bring back Fayose” at the July 14 governorship election in the state.
At the campaign rally for APC’s governorship candidate, Dr Kayode Fayemi, Ngige said, “If you marry 2 wives, you go know which one wey better. Fayose is the better Wife, E dey cook, E de give husband better food … bring back Fayose on Saturday”.
The minister repeatedly made the blunder by continually making reference to Fayose while trying to ask electorates in the state to vote for his party’s gubernatorial candidate.

Meanwhile, Ngige’s gaffe at the APC rally has drawn a number of reactions with some Nigerians on Twitter suggesting that “Fayose’s charm” has started working on the minister ahead of the election on Saturday.
