DSS Foils Terrorist Attack On U.S, UK Embassies

Operatives of the Department of State Security Service, DSS, foiled an attempted attack by ISIS-linked Boko Haram terrorist group on the embassies of the United States of America and the United Kingdom, the security agency has said.

A statement by the spokesman for the DSS, Mr. Tony Opuiyo, said the agency prevented what it described as fatal attacks between the 25th and 26th March, 2017, hindering the extremist groups based in Benue and the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, from carrying out the assaults.

The DSS also said it arrested the masterminds whose names were given Isa Jibril, Jibril Jibril, Abu Omale Jibril, Halidu Sule and Amhodu Salifu.
