El Clasico Ends All-Square As Barca Extend Unbeaten Run

Barcelona extended their unbeaten run in La Liga on Sunday with a 2-2 draw against Real Madrid at the Camp Nou.

Luis Suarez scored in the 10th minute to put Barcelona ahead but Cristiano Ronaldo’s fine finish four minutes later leveled the game for the visitors.

Barcelona were reduced to 10-men at the stroke of half-time after Sergio Roberto was shown a straight red.

The Spaniard appeared to slap Marcelo on the face and was immediately sent-off by the referee.

Lionel Messi put the home side ahead early in the second half but the Argentine’s effort was cancelled by a beautifully curled strike from Gareth Bale in the 72nd minute.

Barcelona look to become Spain’s Invincbles if they are able to win their last three games, which are Villarreal at home on Wednesday, Levante away next Sunday and then Real Sociedad away on the final day.

Ernesto Valverde’s side are yet to lose a game in the league this season, a run stretching back to last April.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid face Liverpool in Champions League final later this month.
