A correspondent of Leadership newspapers, Mr. Midat Joseph has been arrested on the orders of Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasir El’Rufai.
According to Daily Post, Mr Joseph was arrested by security operatives in his house in the early hours of Thursday.

He was said to have published a report considered critical of the state government.

Mr Joseph becomes the sixth journalist arrested on the orders of the state governor since his assumption of office on May 2015.
