EPL Fixtures 2016/2017: Arsenal Host Liverpool, Leicester Travel To Bournemouth And More

The English Football Association, on Wednesday, released the fixtures for the fast approaching 2016/2017 new Premier League season.

Champions Leicester City open the defence of their title away to newly promoted Hull City, while Pep Guardiola’s first league game in charge of Manchester City comes at home to Sunderland.

Arguably, the pick of the opening round of games is Arsenal v Liverpool, as both will start the season, confident of producing a title challenge.

New Chelsea boss Antonio Conte will welcome West Ham to Stamford Bridge for a massive London derby to start the new season, while Everton are at home to Tottenham in another standout fixture.

Elsewhere, Southampton who are currently without a manager following Ronaldo Koeman’s move to Everton, host Watford, with Jose Mourinho’s first game as f Manchester United manager at Bournemouth.

The Portuguese takes United back to his former club Chelsea on October 22, while his first taste of a Manchester derby against old foe Guardiola will come on September 10 at Old Trafford.

Crystal Palace take on West Bromwich Albion to round off the opening games on August 13.

The opening weekend will be played between August 13 and 15.
