EPL: Leicester Duo, Vardy And Ranieri Sweep November Award

Leicester City’s striker Jamie Vardy and manager Claudio Ranieri have been named Premier League player and manager of the month for November respectively.

Vardy, 28, picked up his consecutive Premier League Player of the Month award.

Vardy took the October award after scoring five times in four matches, and has become just the fifth player to win back-to-back Player of the Month prizes after Robbie Fowler, Dennis Bergkamp, Cristiano Ronaldo and Harry Kane.

The England international scored three goals in his four league matches last month, with his strike in the 1-1 draw against Manchester United setting a new Premier League record as it was his 11th consecutive scoring appearance in the competition.

Coach Ranieri also picked up back-to-back awards, having won it in October.

The Italian picked up his award after guiding his side to seven points from their three November outings.

Leicester defeated both Watford and Newcastle, before the draw with United at the end of the month. Last Saturday’s win at Swansea saw the club rise to the Premier League’s summit.
