Ethiopian Airline, Airbus A350 has landed at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.
It is the first major airline to touch down the Abuja airport a day to the official reopening of the airport.
The airport was temporarily closed down for six weeks on March 8, 2017, for rehabilitation work on its runway.
The Federal Government had earlier stated that the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport is 100% complete and ready to commence flight operations.
The Minister of State for Aviation, who made the first landing at the airport on board a test flight on Tuesday, had earlier stated that the Ethiopian Airline will celebrate the first landing of Airbus A350 at the Abuja airport.
I am made to understand that Ethiopian Airlines, in line with their tradition, will celebrate the first landing of Airbus A350 in Abuja.????
