EU-AU Summit: Buhari Departs Abuja For Abidjan
President Muhammadu Buhari has departed the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja for Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire as he is billed to participate at the 5th EU-AU Summit scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday.
The presidency made this announcement on its official twitter account on Tuesday.
The President was accompanied by the National leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Mohammed Abubakar of Bauchi and Governor Emmanuel Udom of Akwa Ibom.
The African Union-European Union summit is a meeting between leaders from the continents of Africa and Europe, where political and economic issues are discussed in other to strengthen ties between the two continents.
