Fashola Boycotts Lagos LG Poll

There are clear indications that former Lagos State Governor and Minister of Works, Housing and Power, Babatunde Fashola, boycotted Saturday’s Local Government election at his Itolo ward.

Reports have it that voters at his Ward G3, Unit 002, State Senior Grammer School, Itolo, expressed worry as Fashola was conspicuously missing at venue of the poll.

While National leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, was on ground at Polling Unit 047, Sunday Adigun Street, Alausa, Ikeja, to cast his vote, Fashola failed to show up at his unit to mobilise his constituents to vote massively for the APC.

Meanwhile the APC was reported to have recorded landslide victory at Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode’s Epe unit as the governor was on ground to cast his vote.
