Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State has stormed the Abuja Federal High Court in solidarity support for leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu.
This was according to the governor’s media aide, Lere Olayinka, who made the disclosure in a Facebook post on Tuesday.
“Governor Fayose in court in solidarity with IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu whose trial comes up today before Justice Nyako,” he wrote.
Kanu is facing trial for treason alongside three other IPOB members.
THE WHISTLER recalls that the trial judge, Justice Binta Nyako, had earlier squashed six of the charges instituted against the IPOB leader.
Nyako is expected to further rule on Kanu’s bail application.
