Federal Civil Service Commission Postpones 2018 Directorate Promotion Exams

The Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC) has announced the postponement of the 2018 directorate level promotion examinations earlier slated for June 25 to 28, 2018.

This was according to a circular issued by a Permanent Secretary in the Commission, Mrs Ekaro Comfort, who made the announcement on behalf of the Chairman of the Commission.

Citing “unforeseen circumstances”, Mrs Comfort said the examination exercise “will now hold from Monday 16th July, to Thursday 19th July, 2018.”

The Permanent Secretary added that “the examination at the four (4) designated centers of New York, London , India and Nairobi will hold on Saturday , 7th July, 2018, as earlier scheduled.

In the circular dated June 23, the Commission copied the Chief of Staff to the President, the Deputy Chief of Staff to the President, and Secretary to the Government of the Federation.

Also copied in the circular were the Head of Civil Service of the Federation, All Permanent Secretaries, Auditor General of the Federation, Accountant General of the Federation, Surveyor General of the Federation and All Heads of Extra-Ministerial Offices.
