FG Uses Acting Chief Judge To Proscribe IPOB

The Federal Government on Wednesday through an exparte motion before a Federal High Court in Abuja by the Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Mr. Abubakar Malami, got an order proscribing the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

The order was given by the Acting Chief Judge of the Federal High Court, Justice Abdu Kafarati.

The South East Caucus had on Wednesday kicked against the proscription, insisting that the IPOB was not a terrorist organization.
