Finally, Ese Re-Unites With Mum

The abducted Bayelsa girl, Ese Oruru, on Wednesday morning, finally re-united with her mother.

Police authorities in Abuja, yesterday night, said Ese will be officially handed over to her mother, Mrs. Oruru, today.

Force spokesperson, Bisi Kolawole, speaking to newsmen, said that the much anticipated handover was supposed to have taken place yesterday, but due to the late arrival of Ese’s parents, the hand over was postponed.

Meanwhile, her dad, Charles Oruru, disclosed that he has concluded plans to seek spiritual assistance from Lagos clergyman, Pastor T.B. Joshua, founder of The Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN).

“When she comes back, I will make sure I will take her to a church where they will pray for her so that she will become very normal and apart from that, she will continue her school,” he stated.

Ese was allegedly abducted by one Yinusa, eight months ago, from her Bayelsa Home, forcefully converted to Islam and moved to Kano for a forced marriage.

She was rescued on Monday night, following a directive by the Inspector General of Police, Solomon Arase, to the Commissioner of Police, Kano State, Mohammed Katsina, to liaise with the state’s Emirate Council and relevant persons in the state.
