‘Fix Nigeria And Investors Will Come Running’, Gulak Tells Buhari
A Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain and former Political Adviser to ex- President Goodluck Jonathan, Alhaji Ahmed Gulak, has said that if President Muhammadu Buhari refrains from his frequent travels and fix Nigeria, investors will come running into the country.
In an interview with Daily Independent Newspapers, Gulak said the country needs to understand that running to different countries and seeking investors while discussing corruption will not solve the country’s problem.
“Every Nigerian is saying that the President should stay back at home. Yes, we want investors but as I said if you fix your country, investors will run coming to you.

“We have the market. This is a country of over 170 million people. It is one of the largest market in the world. We have seen Chinese, Americans, Indians, Asians coming here. We have the market but fix the country. Provide security, give us power, give us fuel, release the budget and the country will be fixed. Then, the investors will come,” he said.
Gulak, who noted that the PDP made enormous achievements during its 16-years reign, added that what Nigerians currently need and deserve isn’t a president to explain why he can’t fix the country but a president who will do the job.
