Fulani Herdsmen May Break Nigeria Quicker Than IPOB – Falae

Olu Falae, former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), has described activities of herdsmen as more threatening to the nation’s unity than those of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

Speaking in a statement on Saturday by Governor Ayo Fayose’s Chief Press Secretary, Idowu Adelusi, Falae warned that Fulani Herdsmen crisis may quicken Nigeria’s breakup than Biafra agitations.

The former SGF hailed Governor Fayose for curbing herdsmen activities in the state.

Falae, who had previously been abducted by Fulani Herdsmen, also implored other governors to emulate Fayose by dealing decisively with herders in their respective states.

He further congratulated Ekiti for topping other states in the just released National Examination Council (NECO) results.

In congratulating Fayose, Falae said, “he (Fayose) has returned water to the dried fountain through bold steps taken to turn around the education industry in the state”

He continued, “I went round the state and saw gigantic ongoing projects such as the Fly-over, Ado-Ikere dualized road, the new governor’s office, the new high court complex and the new ultra-modern Oja Oba market and I concluded that this young man is performing. I give kudos to him.”
