Fulani To Fani-Kayode: This Is Final Warning

As a fall-out of the kidnapping of Chief Olu Falae by suspected Fulani herdsmen and the outcry it has generated, a Fulani socio-cultural association, Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, has issued what it calls final warning to former Minister of Aviation, Mr. Femi Fani-kayode.

The ‘final warning’ which was issued Wednesday in Abuja was allegedly over insult by Fani-Kayode on the Fulani race.
National president of the association, Alhaji Bello Abdullahi Bodejo, gave the warning after consultation with the South-West organisations’ leaders in Abuja.

Bodejo accused Fani-Kayode of having described all Fulani herdsmen as ‘tse-tse fly, locust, leeches’ and also called for the ban of herdsmen from Southern Nigeria.

The Fulani leader said further that if he did not apologise to the Fulani race, they would be forced to take legal action against him.

“We want Femi Fani-Kayode to publicly withdraw his hate speech and wrongful criminal allegation against the entire Fulani race.”

Bodejo called on President Muhammadu Buhari to deal with any individual or group that threatens the peace and tranquillity of the country and urged that serious caution be applied against inciting utterances by some Nigerian to avoid breach of public peace.

“We want the FG to deal with anybody no matter highly placed in Nigeria if they do not guide their utterances.”
