Nigerian pop legend, Innocent ‘2baba’ Idibia, has been unveiled as the newest brand ambassador for leading telecommunications giant, Globacom Limited.

The unveiling held on Sunday at the Port Harcourt leg of ‘Glo Mega Music Tour’.

It would be recalled that Glo had, in October last year, dropped some of its brand ambassadors, including the likes of P-Square and Wizkid.

The duo of P-Square had confirmed their exit from Glo in a tweet saying “We thank the entire Glo family for the luv & support. Our journey with you was amazing. We r grateful. God bless u #NoLongerGloAmbassadors”.

THE WHISTLER further recalls that 2Baba had just recently left his role as a coach on popular TV series ‘The Voice’.

Confirming his exit from The Voice, the M-Net West Africa team said in statement that the legendary singer left the show to “pursue other commitments”, the development which saw Nigerian singer, Yemi Alade filling up his spot.
