Group Lauds IGP Over Deployment Of Ghazzali Mohammed As Adamawa State CP

A non-governmental organization, Peace and Media Advocacy Group has commended the Inspector General of Police, Mr Ibrahim Idris for deploying Mr Ghazzali Mohammed to Adamawa State.

The group, in a statement signed by its national coordinator, Comrade James Okoronkwo, said Ghazzali’s deployment sparked a positive security transformation in Adamawa State.

The group revealed that its conclusion on the security improvement in the state, followed an unbiased monitoring and independent assessment of the police in the State

“Adamawa State recently has witnessed a remarkable improvement in peace and security following the giant strides so far recorded by the meticulous policing of the state by Mr Ghazzali Mohammed, the Commissioner of Police,” the group said.

Okoronkwo noted that the groups recent visit to Michika, Mayo Belwa and Ganye, communities that were once ravaged by the Boko Haram insurgency, informed their position that the police deserves commendation as the people and residents of the state now move about freely saying that “there is remarkable improvement in peace and security prevalent in the state as well as a noticeable reduction in crime and criminality in Adamawa State”.

The group applauded the Adamawa police boss for inspiring the rank and file resulting in the industrial harmony existing in the police formation.

The group, further appealed to residents of Adamawa State to partner with police authorities to ensure the safety of lives and property in the state.
