Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has been named English Premier League Manager of the Month for September after recording four victories in a row.
City went on a goal scoring spree throughout the month of September as they demolished Liverpool 5-0, Watford 6-0 and Crystal Palace 5-0 and finally defeating Chelsea 1-0 at Stamford Bridge.
Guardiola’s side now top the EPL chart with 19 points after 7 matches on goal difference from arch rivals Manchester United.
Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane was named the EPL Player of the Month for September.
The 24-year-old scored six times in four league matches last month, hitting braces against Everton, West Ham and Huddersfield.
Kane beat Man City pair Aguero and De Bruyne, Chelsea’s Morata and Man United striker Lukaku to the award.
