A former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has warned President Muhammadu Buhari to ensure that the detained Sheik Ibrahim El-Zakzaky, Colonel Sambo Dasuki and Nnamdi Kanu remain unharmed, saying that all hell will break loose should anything happen to them.

According to Premium Times, a message posted on Fani-Kayode’s Facebook page read:

“… President Buhari and his government should please take note of the following:

“Sheik Ibrahim El-Zakzaky, Colonel Sambo Dasuki and Mr. Nnamdi Kanu must NOT be beaten, tortured, poisoned or murdered whilst they are in your custody or else all hell will break loose.”

President Buhari, last week Wednesday, had said Dasuki and Kanu cannot be allowed to enjoy any form of freedom due to the enormity of their offences.

The president who spoke during his first presidential media chat at the presidential Villa in Abuja however declined comment on El-Zakzaky, saying he would only do so after receiving reports of enquiries been conducted by the Army and the Kaduna State Government.

You will recall that Dasuki, who is facing trial for allegedly diverting the sum of $2.2 billion dollars meant for arms procurement for the anti-Boko Haram, was on Wednesday re-arrested by the State Security Service (DSS) after he was granted bail by three different courts.

Kanu, who is leading the quest for an independent nation of Biafra, was earlier granted bail by a Federal high Court sitting in Abuja on December 17. Kanu was detained October 17 on charges of terrorism and financing terrorism.

El-Zakzaky, the leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria, is being held by the police after troops of the Nigerian Army killed an unknown number of his followers in Zaria.
