Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, who was reportedly dead by a German news outlet, DW-TV3, setting off a social media frenzy on Sunday, has debunked the rumour in a tweet late on Sunday night.
The DW-TV3 had reported that the industrialist died after a short illness in Germany.

Reacting to the rumour, Dangote tweeted: “I am hale, hearty and alive. Please disregard malicious report saying otherwise. Thank you.”
