I Don’t Own Any Property In Dubai- Ex Transport Minister
The former Minister of Transport, Senator Idris Umar, on Friday, refuted claims which stated that he owns a property in Dubai and that he is hiding there.
Recall that on 21st January 2016, Sahara Reporters, in a series of tweets revealing Nigerian politicians who allegedly own houses in the United Arab Emirates, UAE, reported that the former minister “owns a property in Dubai and is now hiding in Dubai”

A statement issued by Umar’s Media Aide, Innocent Ebirim, read, “for the avoidance of doubt, Senator Idris does not own any property in Dubai and he is in Abuja at his usual place of abode and has no reason whatsoever to hide in far away Dubai.”
