I’m Under Pressure To Get Married – Falz

In a recent interview, popular Nigerian artist Folarin Falana, popularly known as Falz the Bahd Guy, revealed that he’s being put under a lot of pressure to get married.

Falz said the urge comes often and that just recently, the wedding of Banky W and Adesua, intensified the pressure on him.

The singer, who is son to popular lawyer and human right activist, Femi Falana, said he is becoming inclined to find a woman to settle down with.

Speaking to Punch’s Sunday Scoop, he said “In recent past, people have been putting me under a lot of pressure to get married since Banky W and Adesua got married last year and it almost broke the Internet, it really triggers me as bachelor to find a woman who I can start a family with.

The Artist also shared a terrible incident that almost took his life and that of his friends sometime in 2013

“In November 2013, I had a horrible accident and it was a near-death experience, I was in the vehicle with my management team, the accident was caused by an armed robbery gang

“We were on the highway suddenly the car was shot at and the driver was killed, we ended up in a ditch whereas I sustained injuries and the visible scars on my body is as a result of the incident that took place.

“I really thought it was the end, especially when the driver died and his foot was still on the throttle, still moving the car,” he said.

However the lawyer-turned artist added that “as the car was about to crash, I just covered my face and brace for impact. I thought that at least, one should die as a fine boy.

‘’After the crash, the armed robbers came and ransacked all the bags in the car, looking for money. Today, I continue to remember that incident and I know that God kept me alive for a reason,’’ he added.
