Unknown hoodlums, suspected to be arsonist, burnt down the family house of Hon. Victor Dennis Ekaro, a special adviser to Rivers State Governor Ezebunwo Nyesom Wike, at Ihuwo community in Ahoada-East local government area of Rivers State.

The attack came less than 24 hours after suspected cultists invaded the community and murdered three youths, believed to be members of a rival cult group.

Ekaro, who showed newsmen round the destroyed seven-room apartment on Sunday, said that the incident, which occurred on Saturday, was a threat to his life and that of his family.
