Isoken To Be Screened In Hollywood On Friday

Nollywood is set to make another leap in the international movie industry as it collaborates with Hollywood to showcase some of the best movies in Nigeria, starting from Friday.

The movies slated to be screened at the Grauman’s Egyptian Theatre, Los Angeles, US, during an event tagged ‘Nollywood in Hollywood’ are 93 DAYS, THE BRIDGE and ISOKEN.

Maceo Willis, the operations director for the event, expressed joy as he said the historic event is “a miracle”.

“It’s a miracle as miracles go. No one would have thought the University of Southern California and The Egyptian would be interested in putting Nollywood on showcase’’.

This is the first time that the foremost film programme in the world and the most historic of all of Hollywood’s cinema houses are teaming up to bring a film series from Africa to Hollywood.

Kunle Afolayan, Steve Gukas of 93 DAYS and Dakore Akande of Isoken would be the ambassadors of Nollywood at the event.
