John Obi Mikel Appointed Super Eagles New Captain
Chelsea midfielder, John Obi Mikel has been appointed as the new captain of the Super Eagles.
This was according to the outgoing captain, Ahmed Musa, who made the announcement during a Pre-Match Press briefing, in Kaduna on Thursday.
“I want to announce now that from today, John Obi Mikel is our new captain,” Musa said.

The team is currently in Kaduna preparing for their crunch African Cup of Nations qualifying match against the Pharaohs of Egypt.
